Shipping Policy

Welcome to Velmayil Silks. We are committed to delivering your orders safely and on time. Please read our Shipping Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Domestic Shipping (Within India)

• The estimated delivery time for each product is displayed on its respective product page.
• Delivery timelines begin once your order has been confirmed.
• We partner with trusted courier services to ensure secure and timely delivery.
• Standard delivery time is 5–7 business days, unless otherwise mentioned on the product page.
• Free shipping is available on all prepaid orders within India.

2. Special Items & Custom Orders

• Ready-to-wear sarees with custom stitching may require an additional 7 business days.
• Customized products such as blouse stitching, embroidery, or alterations may require an additional 7–10 business days.
• Handcrafted or artisan-made products may take approximately 15–20 business days before dispatch.

3. International Shipping

• International shipping charges are calculated based on the destination country and package weight.
• Custom-made and handcrafted products may require approximately 30–35 business days for dispatch.
• Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD)

• All COD orders require confirmation before dispatch.
• If we are unable to contact you within 3 days of our first attempt, your order may be cancelled automatically.
• If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, a second attempt will be arranged after reconfirmation.
• A third delivery attempt may attract additional shipping charges.
• Failure to pay additional shipping charges may result in order cancellation and restriction of future COD orders.
• Prepaid orders are processed and dispatched without additional confirmation.

5. Order Cancellation

• Orders may be cancelled only before they have been dispatched.
• Once an order has been shipped, cancellation or refund requests cannot be accepted.

6. Delivery Delays

While we make every effort to deliver your order within the estimated timeframe, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances such as:

• Weather conditions
• Natural disasters
• Government regulations
• Courier service disruptions
• Public holidays or other unavoidable circumstances

If your order is delayed by more than 2 weeks beyond the estimated delivery date, our customer support team will contact you and provide the option to continue waiting or cancel the order, where applicable.

Velmayil Silks is not responsible for delays or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.
